Big G was born in
Charlotte County, Virginia. He grew up singing and playing the lead and
bass guitar in church. He grew up listening to all types of music but Southern
Soul music mandhim whth is today. Influenced by such artists as Clarence
Carter, Percy Sledge, Tyrone Davis and Roy C. He started singing old school
R&B back in the 1970's
